By visiting this website or purchasing any services / products, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions outline my responsibilities to you as well as your responsibilities to me, under Australian Consumer Law. Please take the time to have a read so that you are aware of these responsibilities. If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions please do not continue to visit this website nor make any purchases.

As a qualified clinical Naturopath I am committed to the Code of Conduct for unregistered health practitioners. The Code of Conduct (Standards Of Practice) for unregistered health practitioners is available to view at the bottom of this page.

Our cancellation policy requires 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to cancel your appointment prior to the 24 hour notice period will NOT receive a refund or transfer of deposit.

If you are experiencing any cold or flu like symptoms or are a close contact of someone with COVID-19, please contact the clinic to adjust your appointment to online or reschedule.

Please respect that Andrea's time is valuable and she is often booked out weeks in advance. When given enough notice, appointment times may be offered to clients on the waitlist.

Payment Terms:

Payments made through my online store are secure via Stripe. Payments made for consultations or other services provided may be required up front.  I also accept payments to my ING account.

If you wish to make a payment via direct deposit you must notify me by email at naturopathy@andreadalton.com.au with your name, contact details and details of your purchase. I will then provide written confirmation of the purchase and provide my banking details.

Delivery of goods:

Physical products purchased on this website are delivered by Australia Post Parcel Post. Products are shipped within 1-2 business days of purchase.

Terms and Conditions for Split Payments of Functional Testing:

  1. Agreement: By making a payment, the client agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.
  2. Payment Schedule: Payments for functional testing services: 90% of the total amount is due before the test is ordered and the remaining 10% is due upon receipt of test results.
  3. Payment Deadline: All payments must be made within 90 days from the date of invoice.
  4. Late Payments: If the full payment is not made within 90 days, the invoice will be cancelled, and a full refund will be provided. An initial appointment may be required to start the testing process again.
  5. Initial Appointment: An initial appointment may be required before the test is ordered, and this will be communicated in advance.
  6. Test Results: The test results will not be released until 100% of the payment has been received.
  7. Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through mediation or other alternative dispute resolution methods before seeking resolution through the courts.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the client acknowledges that they have read and understood the payment schedule and payment deadline outlined above.

ANTA Standards of Practice

The Practitioner Shall:

  1. Provide health care services consistent with and in accordance with the scope of qualifications and training
  2. Consider the health and wellbeing of the patient and have an understanding of the therapeutic nature of the patient and practitioner relationship
  3. Treat patients with compassion, respect and have an appreciation of the diversity of human background and cultural values
  4. Listen to and identify the concerns of the patient, families and carers
  5. Present information accurately and clearly to a patient in accordance with good professional practice
  6. Respect the patients right to make decisions about their health care
  7. Refer patients to other health service practitioners as appropriate
  8. Continue self education to maintain currency of health care services
  9. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with legal requirements
  10. Maintain professional reputation based on integrity and ability
  11. Maintain a safe and hygienic practice environment
  12. Maintain and keep accurate up-to-date patient records in a secure and confidential manner
  13.  Abide by the Code of Professional Ethics of the Australian Natural Therapists Association
  14. Abide by the Constitution, policies and rules of the Australian Natural Therapists Association
  15. Comply with Local, State and Federal laws

 

Family Package Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions - Naturopath Family Packages

1. Family Package for Initial Consultations
The Family Package for Initial Consultations includes two options:
- Option 1: Two adult consultations and two children consultations
- Option 2: Two adult consultations and two child consultations

Each consultation within the package is valid for one month when using the two adult consultations and two children consultations (2A + 2C) or two months when using one adult consultation and one child consultation (1A + 1C).

During each month of the required consultation, the package includes up to $100 worth of product. The provision of products is subject to the professional judgment of the naturopath and will only be given if deemed necessary based on individual needs.

The original cost of the Family Package for Initial Consultations is $560, but it is offered at a discounted price of $360, resulting in savings of $200.

2. Family Package - Follow-Up Consultations
The Family Package for Follow-Up Consultations includes two adult consultations and two children consultations.

Each consultation within the package is valid for one month when using the two adult consultations and two children consultations (2A + 2C) or two months when using one adult consultation and one child consultation (1A + 1C).

During each month of the required consultation, a total of up to $100 worth of product, provided that it is deemed necessary based on individual needs.

The original cost of the Family Package for Follow-Up Consultations is $420, but it is offered at a discounted price of $320, resulting in savings of $100.

General Terms and Conditions:

1. Consultation Limit
Both the Family Package for Initial Consultations and the Family Package for Follow-Up Consultations are subject to the specified consultation limits. The consultations included in the package must be utilised within the defined time frame (one or two months) based on the selected option.

2. Product Allocation
The allocation of products worth up to $100  is subject to the professional judgment of the naturopath. The decision to provide products will be based on individual needs and requirements determined during the consultation. The naturopath reserves the right to substitute or modify the product selection based on availability and suitability.

3. Pricing and Payment
The prices for the Naturopath Family Packages are as mentioned above. Payment for the package is required in full at the time of purchase. Accepted forms of payment include cash, credit card, or any other methods specified by the naturopath. The naturopath reserves the right to change the prices of the packages at any time, but the prices paid by customers who have already purchased a package will remain unchanged.

4. Cancellation and Refunds
Once purchased, the Naturopath Family Packages are non-refundable. However, if a customer is unable to continue with the package due to unforeseen circumstances, they may be eligible for a credit towards other naturopathic services offered by the practitioner. The decision regarding credit eligibility will be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the naturopath.

5. Consultation Appointments
Consultation appointments must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. It is the responsibility of the customer to book appointments within the validity period of the package. Failure to schedule and attend consultations within the specified timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the unused consultations.

6. Consultation Modifications
Any changes or modifications to the consultation schedule or package details must be communicated to the naturopath in a timely manner. The naturopath will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, but changes are subject to availability and the professional judgment of the naturopath.

By purchasing the Naturopath Family Packages, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined above.
